Ann Cornell, CPA, Controller-Investor Relations

Ann Cornell joined TerraCap as Controller-Investor Relations in 2014 and is responsible for the fund accounting and investor relations for three funds. She has been involved in all aspects of the financial, regulatory and management reporting, financial analyses, and property accounting for the acquisitions, dispositions, financing, operations and management of the commercial real estate. During her time with TerraCap, she has worked with the SEC and GAAP compliance as well as the implementation of new software and the transition of fund administration to a third-party. In addition, she has over 15 years of real estate industry experience, which includes working with one of the largest financial institutions in Texas and two Forbes 400 family offices. She began her career as an auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Houston, Texas where she was responsible for auditing corporate clients dealing in the real estate, oil and gas, and manufacturing industries. At the financial institution, she was responsible for real estate investment accounting, as well as real estate owned and loan portfolio valuations. Mrs. Cornell then joined Barron Collier Company in Naples, Florida where she was responsible for financial and management reporting, financial projections, and analysis of all real estate holdings and development operations in southwest Florida as well as Phoenix, Arizona. She later joined a small private equity firm where she handled the financial, regulatory, and management reporting for various portfolio funds consisting of private equity, real estate, debt instruments, and public securities investments.

Mrs. Cornell has been actively involved in a variety of education and community activities. She served as the Chairman of the Golden Apple Selection Committee for the Education Foundation of Collier County and served on the Board as Treasurer for the YMCA of Greater Naples. She was elected to serve on two Collier County School Advisory Committees spanning five years.

Mrs. Cornell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
