Judy Hayashi joined TerraCap Management, LLC in 2025 as the Property Controller. In her role, Judy facilitates the accounting department with financial reporting processes, policies, and procedures. Judy brings over 12 years of real estate accounting experience in multifamily and development assets.
Prior to joining TerraCap, Judy served as a Controller at Preferred Apartment Communities (APTS NYSE), led strategic initiatives and workflow optimization, and ensured the accuracy of financial reporting for a diverse property portfolio. Judy’s career spans leadership roles including Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, and Auditor for organizations such as Wood Partners, Post Properties, The Worthing Companies, and First Citizens Bank.
Judy earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business and is an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
