Baron Davis

Baron Davis, National Director of Acquisitions, leads the sourcing and execution of real estate investments for TerraCap Management. In his role, Mr. Davis is responsible for driving all aspects of the acquisitions process, including originating, underwriting, due diligence, capital structuring, negotiations, and closings, while collaborating closely with the firm’s asset management, finance, investor relations, and accounting teams to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns. Mr. Davis also plays a key role in shaping investment strategy and advancing the firm’s strategic presence and relationships across the investment community.

He leverages the firm’s vertically integrated platform and local market expertise to uncover investment opportunities and drive above-market returns. Mr. Davis works directly with the Investment Committee to identify and execute strategies that align with TerraCap’s long-term value-creation objectives.

Mr. Davis brings extensive experience in real estate private equity, having executed over $1.5 billion in total transaction volume across multifamily, office, and hospitality sectors throughout his career. Prior to joining TerraCap, he served as Vice President of Investments at RPM Investments, where he sourced and closed real estate investments across the South and Southwest.

Previously, Mr. Davis was Director of Investments at ATX Acquisitions/InvestRes, overseeing the firm’s real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities. He also served as an Investment Associate at Nitya Capital, where he helped the firm acquire and manage multifamily and commercial properties. Mr. Davis began his career in the oil and gas sector, serving as an Investment Banking Analyst with UBS, and later held an Investment Associate role at Global Energy Capital, a private-equity firm focused on energy investments.

Mr. Davis earned his Master of Science in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin – McCombs School of Business and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.

Mr. Davis is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and serves as an Advisory Council Member for the University of Texas at Austin McCombs Real Estate Center.
